Indian tennis player Sania Mirza’s personal life has been in the spotlight for the past several months. There have been recent rumors circulating that she intends to wed Indian cricket player Mohammed Shami, who is divorcing his wife Hasin Jahan. Her father, though, has denied the rumors.
Imran, Sania’s father, came forward to refute the claims after catching wind of the rumors. He denied that the wedding rumors are true in an interview with NDTV. “This is all rubbish,” he declared. She isn’t even familiar with him.”
When a modified photo of Sania and Mohammed Shami’s wedding appeared online, the rumors intensified even further. But the photo, taken at her April 2010 wedding to cricket player Shoaib, is not real.
The image, which was shared on Facebook on June 12, depicts Mohammed Shami’s face superimposed over Shoaib’s from the original image.
