What are the distinctions between the New Bajaj Chetak 3501 and 3502?
Though the new Chetak EV has a new chassis and a longer wheelbase, the two editions of the updated scooter share the same chassis, which houses the battery pack on the floorboard and allows for additional storage beneath the seat. Other than that, there are no visual differences between the two versions.
Details and range of batteries
Let’s now discuss the distinctions. The 3.5kWh battery pack, which powers both models, has an IDC range of 153 kilometers and a top speed of 73 kmph.
The key distinction is that the Chetak 3502 uses an offboard charger that takes three hours and twenty-five minutes to charge, but the Chetak 3501 has an onboard charger that can recharge the battery from 10 to 80 percent in three hours.
Technology and features
Regarding features, both Chetak EV models have a 5-inch TFT screen; however, the 3501 model has a touch-enabled dash, but the 3502 model does not. While the latter does not receive auto-cancelling sequential turn signals, the former does.
Additionally, the Bajaj Chetak 3501 has a 5-liter front storage, something the Chetak 3502 does not have. The last distinction is that the Chetak 3502 receives a conventional key, whilst the Chetak 3501 receives a fob.
