One person was killed in a shooting at the Rajouri Garden Burger King in Delhi.

Tuesday night, a group of guys are said to have fired more than a dozen shots at a man inside a Burger King restaurant in Rajouri Garden, west Delhi. The victim, according to the police, passed away immediately from gunshot wounds.

According to a senior police officer, the deceased was seated at the restaurant with a buddy when he and his companions were shot by ten to twelve individuals who were inside the establishment. Both groups, according to the police, are acquainted and have fought over a previous dispute. Police are investigating the case from several perspectives, including gang warfare.

The deceased fell on the scene, and the accused—roughly three men—managed to escape. Few other people, according to the locals, were hurt in the firing. Senior police officials declined to provide information on the injured parties. Teams have been dispatched to arrest them, according to police. To identify the accused, the restaurant’s CCTV is being examined.

“The call came from Burger King restaurant about the fight between two groups,” a senior police officer stated. Three or two males brandished their handguns at the opposing group. The restaurant was the scene of the altercation and firing.

“An incident of gunfire and death has been reported in Burger King, Rajouri Garden,” stated Vichitra Veer, DCP (west). The crime squad and officers are on the scene. Teams have been established to examine CCTV footage and obtain information.
